Don't Want to Go Back

Sometimes it feels so easy to go back to your reoccurring sin. You keep on telling God "I don't want this anymore!"
But time after time, you go back. How do we stop this cycle?

First, CHOOSE NOT to go back. I have come to find that it is all in the attitude that you come to actually wining against your sin. It is not easy, but nothing is impossible. Choose not to let your self fall. Choose not to see that again. Choose not to be in that place again. Choose!

Second, CHOOSE TO be aware. Christians will sin when Satan catches them off guard. So be aware of your sorrounding. Be aware of your emotions. Be aware of your intentions.

Third, CHOOSE TO arm yourself with God. All things are possible through Him, for He is in you! You are not fighting this alone. Choose to arm yourself with scripture, with God's word to you.
1 Peter 5:8-10 (New Living Translation)
8 Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. 9 Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your Christian brothers and sisters all over the world are going through the same kind of suffering you are. 10 In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation.
